Our Mission and Vision
At KidShip Academy, is a high quality early learning center that is based on developing appropriate practices of young children. Most children love to explore while learning through parallel play, and engaging with peers around them. All children learn and develop in their own individual way, which helps create self image. We encourage parent involvement by providing classroom participation that will foster social and emotional development. ​
School Readiness
School readiness for families is an early learning program that helps working flailed with childcare while preparing their children for school. Eligibility is headed on total family income and parents must be employed or attending school. The program serves children from 6 weeks through 12 years of age.
SERVICES
Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK)
Voluntary Prekindergarten is a state program designed to prepare every child in Florida for kindergarten and build the foundation for their educational success. VPK gives each child an opportunity to perform better in school and throughout life with quality programs that include literacy standards, appropriate curriculum, accountability, substantial instruction periods, qualified instructors and manageable classroom sizes.
Family Involvement
Family involvement is a hallmark of the Early Childhood division. Parents can participate in monthly classroom assignments where the children practice their academic skills through stem activities. In addition, there are monthly special events where families come together and participate in engaging activities. Favorites include Parent’s Night Out, Donuts with Dad, Muffins with Mom, Fall Festival, Character Book Parade, the Easter Carnival, and much more!
